Beyond amazing removalists! Nicholas and Dylan were with us for 6 hours, and they were like the Energizer bunnies - just kept going and going. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they totally knew their stuff, moving things around in the truck to make sure our stuff was safe and supported. MovingU was so great from start to finish -- we had to reschedule a move and Kristen and Chandra in the office were understanding and helpful. Our rescheduled move went off without a hitch. Raymond and Adrian were on-time, careful with all of our things, and so quick. They navigated the stairs and narrow spaces in our old apartment building very well. Raymond expertly took apart our bed and couch to make things easier to move and put everything back together at the destination.This is an amazing value for the amount paid and I can't recommend these folks highly enough. Thank you for making our move into our first house a smooth experience.

These guys are legit! Couldn't have asked for a better team of movers. Kire, Erik and Jorge were personable, professional and all around great guys. Took them 6 hours to move us, and their attention to detail was incredible, from the way they protected our things to making sure that everything was put in the right room and setup properly. Wouldn't even think about calling another mover in the future.

Tremendous moving company all around.. I have used them several times for a decade when they were just starting out in business and I was in apartments all the way through last week when I moved cross country into a new house. Professional, reliable, reasonable, efficient and personable! The owner is a great guy and will take the time to make sure you are happy and satisfied. I'm really happy I went with these guys!!! I forgot the names of the 2 movers but they were awesome!! Super professional and friendly. Wrapped all my stuff so nothing got damaged. They packed it so well it made it to California with no problem. I highly recommend these guys for a move. We also had a big oversized couch to move and they took care of it with no problem. Pancho, Kirito, Jr, and Andrew started right on time. They were even loading up the truck while setting the agenda for the move at the same time. Conscientious must be their collective middle name, because everyone took great care of my stuff. I absolutely hate moving, but the Moving U team made this experience just a dream from my first request for a quote to moving day itself!

I hired this company a couple months in advance and they never showed up and then tried to make me pay an extra $300 an hour to get them there.I was told that my movers would be showing at 8-9 am. By 9:30 they weren't there so I called their office. They couldn't give me a time when they would actually show up but said they would dispatch a truck to me. Strike one: not prepared for my move.About an hour later I get a call from the truck in my area that they can head to my home. At this point we are almost 2 hours past my move time but I was thankful they were coming. Until he told me they were a 6 person crew instead of the two I booked. I asked if it would cost more and he said it would be $300 more an hour. I asked what would happen if I couldn't afford it and he said he didn't know when/if someone would show up. I asked "so my options are pay $300 more an hour or possibly not get moved?" And he confirmed that. Strike two.So I reached out to the main office because that didn't sound right. I called 3 times with no answer. Eventually they asked me to text them. So I did and laid the situation out. No answer. I asked for a response half an hour later. Still no answer. No information on if or when we were getting moved. Strike three. I hired a new company (Rogers Moving who I HIGHLY recommend) the day of due to their incompetence.Do not use this company. They will not show and then ask for a cash grab.

I've used this company 3 times before & they have been at least 4 star. This past experience, not even close. In the past they used 2 movers for my 500sqft apt... This time they sent a 3rd mover without notice and it took them almost 3 hours with the extra help and less requirements. I told them multiple times to only take what they can handle in 2 hours but they didn't listen. They also didn't care for the condition of my brand new apt as they made multiple dings in my new floor and walls as they were not helping each other and walked slower than sloths. The main mover even smell like he just smoked a blunt halfway through the move.I called to talk to the manager & he wouldn't return my call, then finally said he said he would refund partial then shut down his site & ignores all calls. Unacceptable-Unprofessional-Would NOT recommend!

Chandra communicated with me for three days. I had to send her many pictures where the pieces I needed moved would come from and go to (stairs, entrance doors, etc.) They were supposed to come Monday morning and did not show up. I called and spoke to a different woman and she promised me a call back right away which I never got. very disappointing! Thankfully I found a different moving company which came the next day and did a fabulous job.Chandra, thanks for your comment, however the neighbors were no issue and we were clear on how we needed the move to happen. You wanted more pictures which I provided and then we didn't hear from you.

I booked their services months ahead to prevent surprises but they seemed not to care when they called me last minute to cancel. Very unprofessional. You do not cancel on people last minute for such an important task. The worst was the response we received from Kristina saying this was not her fault. As a business you will do everything you can to meet customers expectations. Do not use this company. We used All My Sons and they were great!

I was originally going to give moving U 5 stars but have to settle with 3. The move was great, the moves were accommodating and efficient. 5/5 for the actual move. However, they accidentally took my new unit key with them. I was moved on a Saturday and did not receive my key back until Wednesday evening of the next week. So was without my key for 4+ days. The owners were not very apologetic and hard to get a hold of. Obviously a key is very important. I offered multiple times for me to come get the key where ever they were but not response. Just think they could have handled it better and returned the key in a more timely manner.

I hate to give such a poor rating, but I was pretty disappointed with the outcome of my move. The movers were very personable and not bad to work with, however, to move our one-bedroom apartment, it took over 5 1/2 hours. I had everything packed up and neatly stacked near the entrance of our apartment. I was quoted between 2-4 hours, paying up to $660, but ended up paying almost $1k (with tip), which is way more than expected. Additionally, the two of us moving ended up moving the majority of our stuff in to the new apartment, as time kept ticking. There were moments we would look at each-other and wonder what happened to the movers, as they were gone for long periods of time (25 minutes to bring up a mattress? What?). There was a constant smell of cigarette smoke which motivated me to believe there was a plethora of smoke breaks throughout the move. Sorry, but I will not be utilizing or recommending this business in the future.

I have only written one other bad review in my life but felt I needed to share my experience with Moving U. I hired them to move a one bedroom apartment. After the hourly wages, fees, and tip it resulted in $1K of expenses to move my apartment. Even with it being expensive, the job was only half done, they had to leave due to a "scheduling conflict". I had prepared all of the boxes by writing what room they go in--was not taken into consideration. All of the furniture was not in the right rooms. They left my really heavy couch on its back, the only mattress for my one bedroom was left in the living room, etc. After paying them $1K I spent an entire day moving all the furniture and boxes to where they were supposed to go--the entire reason I paid for movers is because I am a single female living by myself that cannot easily move heavy things. Additionally they left their materials (dollys, giant cardboard boxes, furniture coverings, etc) in my apartment since they left in such a hurry. After much contacting on my end and little communication on theirs, it was finally picked up five days later. They forgot a pair of large mirrors outside at the old location that I had to go get myself. Luckily, they weren't already taken by someone. They also never unloaded my work chair off the truck so I had to wait to get that back until they came to collect their moving items to get it back. I contacted Chandra for a partial refund given the high expense and poor results but after many emails she did not respond. They obviously don't care.Just overall a very frustrating experience. I was super nice to the movers, gave them large tips, bought them $40 worth of McDonald's, etc. yet I did not get what I paid for. Don't use this company, find elsewhere and save yourself the headache and waste of money.Chandra, thanks for your comment. Yes I understand you’re busy which is why you let me know you’d get back to me by last Wednesday. If you have enough time to respond to this review within an hour I thought you would’ve been able to respond to any of my emails to let me know you’re still looking into it. I didn’t want to post a bad review at all, but I had a very unfortunate experience that was not resolved, so I’d like to warn anyone who is looking to use your service in the future. It’s expensive and the job was only half done. Hope you can understand. Thanks.

Great movers! Super friendly and efficient. Only complaint is that we didn’t get put on their schedule but they were able to get a team together to do my move later that day. Responsive and ready to make things right if something goes astray. Movers worked extremely hard without complaints and had a great attitude despite the lack of communication. We went third floor to third floor and it was a complete shock but they did well!

BEWARE - IT IS A SCAM. They offer you "valuation coverage" ($250 for up to $5000 worth of stuff more for more etc) with no exclusions on the paperwork you sign. When they did break something, they just told me, nope, it is in their "terms and conditions" they are not responsible for anything they damage - doesn't matter if you paid extra for "Valuation Coverage" because that item is somehow excluded. I asked Chandra what exactly is covered - give an example- and she kept repeating my Samsung flat screen wasn't covered under terms and conditions. It is not worth my time to sue, but geez. Please beware and do not use this dishonest company.Facts: The TV was moved by the movers and then they broke it/it was broken during the shuffling moving within the new home. Chandra outright lies. She again was never able to tell me an example of what was exactly covered by the "valuation coverage" that I bought for $250. Also, in the very first email I never said anything about the TV being already there. My attorney look at everything and said that was a total fraud to offer insurance they knew they would never have to pay on. It is just not worth suing for $250. Please just don't trust this service and avoid my mistakes.

We hired them to move our two bedroom apartment to our first home. While Erik and Jorge were efficient and got everything there ...eventually, if it had not been for ME being observant it would have been a huge fiasco. After they left I started bringing additional personal items to my car, I noticed my bed frame was still sitting by the freight elevator. I went to the loading dock to let them know and my couch was still in the elevator. I then saw they had already left to go to my new home. I immediately called them and told them they left two large pieces of furniture at my apartment. They had just turned the corner and came back right away. These are the two biggest pieces of furniture I asked the movers to handle and was inexcusable.

Guys quoted us a decent price, but they were 5 hours late. They quoted us one truck when we needed two. Now we’re stuck loading and moving our things in our small trailer 6 hours away twice. We will have to come back to come finish their job. Not happy

Have been calling them for 3 days. The movers cracked our television and won’t give us ANY money back for it even though we have insurance. The lady on the phone trying to tell us that we didn’t have insurance when it is clearly in our contract! She also stated they do not know the condition of the tv beforehand. The movers did not cut on our tv before or even after the move. And it states in the contract that they are supposed to do this! She states movers took pics. They did not! And i would like to see proof of everything! THE WORST COMPANY EVER! They do not care about anybody but themselves. DO NOT USE THEM! Will be taking them to court over my tv because i am completely over them trying to scam us. We paid over $400 for a move that was literally across the street and this is this is how they treat their customers.

Stay away from this moving company! I used the company Moving U to help my mom move a piece of heavy furniture to her basement. They came in and tracked dirt all through her brand new house and were not wearing masks. They were extremely unprofessional and put black marks on her carpet as well from moving the furniture. Plus they charged her $135 an hour for a 2-hour minimum plus $75. It's not about the money, but if you're going to pay that much, you expect quality work. Stay away from this company......

Raymond and Daniel were top notch. Called before headed over and showed up right at the time quoted. They were quick, careful, and had such a great personality. They worked hard and finished quick. Definitely recommend Moving U and if you can - ask for Raymond!

Buyer beware should be zero stars, had this crew in my house and jewelry missing after they left! Police report filed, looks like you can't trust anyone these days that is not monitored at all times.The owner is in denial and lacks customer service, do yourself a favor and find a reputable company to let in your home simply for the peace of mind that they are not thieves or will rip you off.

I needed to move quickly and had 2 stops to make. They sent 3 movers and got the job done quickly. I was very impressed with their speediness and concern for my belongings. They definitely went above and beyond and it was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this company.

Pancho, Kirito, Jr, and Andrew started right on time. They were even loading up the truck while setting the agenda for the move at the same time. Conscientious must be their collective middle name, because everyone took great care of my stuff. I absolutely hate moving, but the Moving U team made this experience just a dream from my first request for a quote to moving day itself!
